Meltingly Delicious Fudge Sauce Recipe

While our fudge is an experience all on it’s own, it’s also very versatile.

Turn our delectable fudge into an irresistible fudge sauce that you can drizzle over ice cream, pancakes, or even fruit. This quick and easy recipe is perfect for adding a touch of luxury to your favorite treats.

You will need…

1 cup of Gardiners of Scotland Fudge – whichever flavour you’d like
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt

Instructions

Step 1 – Prepare the fudge
Cut the fudge into small pieces to help it melt more evenly and quickly.

Step 2 – Melt the ingredients

In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the fudge pieces, heavy cream, and butter.
Stir constantly until the fudge and butter are completely melted and the mixture is smooth. This should take about 5-7 minutes.

Step 3 – Add vanilla and salt

Once the mixture is smooth, remove the saucepan from heat.
Stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt until well combined.

Step 4 – Cool slightly

Allow the sauce to cool for a few minutes. It will thicken as it cools. If you prefer a thinner sauce, you can add a bit more heavy cream until you reach the desired consistency.

Step 5 – Serve and enjoy!

Drizzle the warm fudge sauce over ice cream, pancakes, waffles, or any of your favorite desserts.
Store any leftover sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. Reheat gently before serving.
